EOTD: Cutting the crease Black, pink and white

WOW, Okay so I haven't had anytime whatsoever to post up anything new or even do any makeup looks. I've been busy with two jobs so I've kinda forgotten about blogging! Well anyway, this look is something I came up with b/c I was bored (as always) one night. Also, I bought Make-up Forever's #75 eyeshadow and had been wanting to try it out. It's seriously intense and I absolutely LOVE IT! I hope you guys like it!

Also, I went to the IMATS yesterday in Toronto. First time EVER and I felt like I was in Make-up heaven!!!! I think this was the first time that the IMATS ever came to Toronto so it was quite an experience. I met Pursebuzz and Enkore as well which was SOOOO COOL! lol I'll post up the pics once I have the chance as well as the products I bought.

On the eyes:

Too Faced Insurance Primer
NYX Jumbo Pencil - Cottage Cheese

inner corner - MAC chill e/s
outter lid - Make-up forever #75
crease - MAC Carbon e/s

FOTD: My attempt at an arabian look

I haven't done a look in a while, I know. But I did this look a couple of weeks ago and just never had the time to post it up until now. Heading out to work soon so just though I'd do a quick blog. This is my first attempt to do an arabian look, sort of. lol. I honestly cannot remember what products I used so sorry. Maybe I'll redo this look sometime and post the products used! Until then!

NOTD: Mod Sqaud by ESSIE

So I was at Winners the other day, (it's a Canadian store similar to Marshall's) looking for hair products like CHI and VERY SEXY and I came across nailpolish! YAY! To my surprise, they were selling Essie nailpolish for pretty cheap (I would say). You can get a bottle of Essie nailpolish here for about $10 at a salon or drugstore. It's just as expensive as OPI. I've been wanting to try this brand for a while but didn't want to shell out the $10 for one measly bottle. But at Winners, they had this 3 in 1 package. It has two full Essie nailpolishes with a .16 fl oz 3 Way Glaze which works as a basecoat and topcoat. They were selling it for $10!! I though it was a steal!!! Anywhoo, I thought I'd share my newest polish purchase with you guys. I've only tried on the bright pink one (Mod Squad) so I don't have any pics of the light pink one yet (It's in the bag).

Blues and purples

I think I need a new camera. It's just not picking up the colours in the pics. Anywhoo, this look I came up with the other day going out. I know..a little bright but I just love the colours. It doesn't come out nicely in these pics but I took these without flash, only with natural lighting so don't mind the blurriness.

For this look, I used (just shadows/what's on the lid):

Coastal Scents 88 Shimmer Palette, a light blue colour inner corner
NYX Wild Fire on mid lid
NYX Purple in crease
MAC Cassette in crease
MAC Shroom as highlight

NOTD: Yellow with Pink and White Polka dots

I just recently (in the past 3 months)starting getting into nailpolish and different nail designs. I've been really bored with my nails lately so I decided to try something fun! POLKA DOTS! YAY! Who doesn't love polka dots?? Anywhoo...this is the look that was created. I hope you like it!

Here's what I used"

L.A. Colors Art Deco in a hot pink colour (dots)
Sally Hansen HARD as NAILS Xtreme Wear polish in White on (dots)
Sally Hansen HARD as NAILS Xtreme Wear polish in Sand Dollar (as main colour)

Now, I'm not sure about all of you out there but for me, I always find it hard to make perfect dots with just the polish brush alone. So, instead of using the brush I used.....a bobby pin! I just opened a bobby pin and dipped the end of the bobby pin into the polish onto my nails. It gives the perfect polka dot with the perfect size as well. Try it out and let me know how it goes! Ta-ta for now!

FOTD: Sky Blue

Okay so I haven't posted anything lately because I haven't been able to find time to do a look. I just quickly came up with something last night using my new Emani Mineral e/s I bought the other week from Rexall. The flash on my camera totally drowns out the colours and so it doesn't turn out as vibrant as it is in person. (I need a new camera). Hope you guys still like the look. (I seriously need to do some eyebrow maintenance!)

What I used:

Face (the same sh!t as always!) lol

UDPP as primer - all over lid
A white e/s (no name)- inner corner
Light blue e/s 88 Coastal Scents Shimmer Palette - mid lid
Emani Mineral e/s in Ocean View - outer V
Ardell Lashes - (unknown name)
Maybelline Waterproof liquid eyeliner in Very Black - top lashline
Light beige e/s 24 Coastal Scents Palette - highlight (browbone)
MAC eyeliner in Feline (LE)- bottom lashline and waterline

Blush from Coastal Scent 10 piece blush

MAC l/s in Lame - on lips
MAC l/g in Bait - over l/s

Trying to go a toe out of the box...

This look is something I came up off the top of my head. I was trying to go for something......different! lol Something aside from what I usually wear. I'm not sure how I feel about how it turned out but I guess you all can judge for yourselves.

My Current China Glaze Collection

I just wanted to feature some of my new China Glaze nailpolishes. I love China Glaze and the only place we can get it here in my town is at the Sally Beauty Store (and also the BSO but they sell them for $10 off!). Anywhoo, right now they're having a huge nailpolish sale on ALL of their nailpolishes. It's buy 2 get one free. So it works out to about a little less than $3.00 a nailpolish when you get 3. (That's just strictly for China Glaze though). Some of their other nailpolishes like Fingerpaints and ORLY are a little more expensive. Get to a Sally store guys because the sale only lasts until the end of April.

From left to right: Ruby Pumps, Ravishing Dahling, V, Japanese Koi, Liquid Leather, Avalanche

From left to right: Tempest, Spontaneous, Flying Dragon (neon), Reggae to Riches, Rich and Famous, Fuchsia

From left to right: For Audrey, Shower Together, Sexy in the City, Frostbite, Turned up turquoise (neon), Watermelon Rind

I actually have ONE more polish in the colour Solar Power that's not in the pictures because I lent it to my aunt and she hasn't given it back yet. But here is a picture of how it looks.

My summer look!

OK! So, for my FIRST look of the season, I decided to do a summer look since I am LOOOOONG awaiting for hot weather and warm nights to come along. It's a bright cheerful look that I hope you all enjoy. I know it's not something everyone would wear but I just love vibrant colours. The colours in real life are brighter but the flash on my camera kinda drowns it out. O WELL! What can I do!? Anywhoo, here is a list of all the products I used for this summer blast look!!!

Smashbox High Def Foundation
MAC Minerlized Skinfinish in Medium Plus
MAC Cream Colour Base in Hush (Cheeks)
CS 10 pc blush (The bright pink one) lol
MAC Iridescent Pressed Powder in Belightful (Cheeks)

Lemon Drop mineralized shadow from Beauty From the Earth (inner corner and tear duct)

Make- up has brought me here!

WAAAAAH! I've never had a blog before so this is definitely a change from Myspace and Facebook. So you're all probably wondering why I'm starting a blog...hmmm.. It's because I have a HUGE LOVE for make-up and thought I'd be nice to share with you all a few make-up tips and tricks and looks I like to wear. Of course, I am no where even close to a professional make-up artist but I love playing with make-up and thought it would be fun to do this! YAY! hahaha. Once in a while, I might drop some randomness (ok..maybe a lot of randomness) but I hope you all enjoy! So of you're into make up too or just accidentally dropped on my blog check it out. You might just find something you like!
