Christmas look #4

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Okay gals! This is going to be the last Christmas look for the year. I wanted to just go TACKY and do the whole red and green look! lol But I still wanted it to be somewhat wearable (that is if you're gutsy enough to wear the look out!) Anywhoo, I'm lazy to list all the products so I'm just going to post the pics! Merry Christmas and Happy New YEAR!!! :D

Wet n' Wild's Eyeshadow Palette in PRIDE (247)

Hey ladies,

I've been hearing raves about these palettes and decided to try them out myself. I've only had time to try this palette (Pride) out but so far, so good.

Here's a pic of the look I did with just these colors.

Pros:
  • very pigmented
  • affordable ($5.98 CDN)
  • longlasting
  • blendable
  • has both matte and shimmery shadows
  • colors are buildable
Cons:
  • the matte colors create a lot of fall-out
  • the matte colors are somewhat chalky

Elegant Christmas hair updo

So this is my first blog entry about hair. It's definitely not a tutorial as you can see, I don't ever do any sort of tutorials! I was bored and wanted to practice updos so I asked my cousin Panou to come over for me to do her hair! She's got super long layerd mermaid hair which I LOVE! lol Anywhoo, these are the pics of the updo. You can definitely wear this hairdo for weddings or parties or even for the holiday! Enjoy!

And if anyone is wondering, I bought the hairpiece at ALDO's Accessories for about $12!

BaByliss Pro TT Tourmaline 500 Marcel 1" Curling Iron

Hey guys! So while I was in MI I also hit a TJ Maxx where I found this BaByliss Pro curling iron. Immediately grabbed it because we all know Babyliss isn't exactly cheap but is extremely good! It was the last one too so I really didn't hesitate to buy it. This curling iron's original price is approximately $149.95 US dollars. I got this one for $14.99!!!!! I know the tag says $34.00 but on the internet it goes for about $149. I couldn't believe my luck because I've been wanting to purchase a BaByliss curling iron from BeautyChoice.com for a while now.

Here are the curling iron's features:

  • Tourmaline/ceramic barrel easily creates silky, smooth curls
  • Tourmaline is a natural source of negative ions and far infrared heat
  • Tourmaline – pure precious gem stone crystals
  • Negative ions eliminate frizz and close the cuticle to create smooth, shiny hair
  • Far infrared heat penetrates hair from within, resulting in faster styling with less damage
  • Fast heat, accurate heat with Instant heat recovery
  • 40 heat settings
  • Push-in/pop-out dial! Press once and the dial pops out to easily adjust the temperature. Press again to lock-in the dial and prevent accidental changes
  • 9’ swivel cord
  • Slim rubberized handle
  • One iron for all hair types: from fragile, thin hair to wavy, thick hair
  • 50 month warranty
  • Available sizes: 5/8” (A8614-M), ¾” (A8614-S), 1” (A8614-L), 1 ¼” (A8614-XL)
The only con about this iron is the handle. I'm not sure if I understand why the clip of the iron is the way it is but it doesn't have a spring. If anyone can tell me the purpose of this, that would be great because I've just been using this iron without the clip and wrapping my hair around the barrel instead. I love the turn out of that method though. The curls come out some much more even. Check out the picture of my hair curled with this iron!

So if anyone is looking for a good but cheap iron! Check out TJ Maxx!

Shopping in Michigan!

Holy it's been quite a while now since I've posted anything on my blog! I've been MIA b/c of having two jobs. I literally have no time for anything whatsoever. However, this past weekend my bff and I went down to Michigan to do a little shopping. We hit Lakeside Mall, Great Lakes Mall and Birchrun Outlets. I bought some clothes and other nick nacks but, what I wanted to share with you guys is what I bought at the Coach outlet and CCO.
